Well I have mentioned this before, but there is a movie out about Astro Boy, which was a cartoon I used to watch when I was a kid.

There were a few things that I didn't agree on with this movie, such as:
- It was made in a Hong Kong studio instead of in Japan.
- Freddy Highmore makes Astro Boy sound a like a teenager.

But I don't want to give too much away if you haven't seen this. That's why I don't want to write too much about it here. I think the people who made this, put in a good effort. There has not been a lot of advertising about it, though. Even Margaret and David didn't review it. But its not the type of thing they would like anyway. In general I thought it was a pretty fun movie.

I went to see the new Harry Potter movie last week- Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. I thought it was pretty good, and it was scary in parts. Although I don't think it was the best Harry Potter movie. I went with my friend who hadn't seen any of the Harry Potter movies before. My favourite characters in the movie are Luna Lovegood and Snape. Has anyone seen this movie and want to comment on it?

Other than that, I've been trying to get some work doing casual teaching. Also I am working at a Childcare place. I have some more ideas for paintings I might work on if I have some spare time. I went to the Black and White day for the Scottie and Westie club on Sunday. We took our dog, Hamish along. They had events like dog races, and dog fancy dress. I took a photo of the winner for the dog fancy dress. It is a Scottie dressed as a bee. There were actually about 7 Scotties dressed as bees, but the photo I put up here came out the best. It was funny at the time.

On Friday morning my Grandma died. She had been in hospital for about one and a half weeks. I went to visit her, and she was lying there in her bed asleep. She was not able to talk in the last few days as she was too weak to talk. I sat next to her. She had her eyes closed and her mouth open and she was breathing shallowly. I said "Grandma, its Jessica here, can you hear me?" I held her hand. The nurse came in and said "Its not long to go now. Her fingers and toes are swelling up."
Then she stopped breathing, while I was still holding her hand. She had passed away. She was 92. We are all very sad now, but I think she will be joining my Grandpa in Heaven. Rest in Peace Doreen. We will be thinking of you, and we all love you.
